UPDATE: The Rock Island Coroner's Office has identified the driver as 65-year-old Charles A. Stuebe.

A single car accident in Rock Island County claimed the life of an Illinois City man Monday night, January 14, 2013 around 10:00.

The Rock Island County Sheriff's office responded to the scene in the 16500 block of 78th Ave. West (Ill. Rt. 92), about 3 miles west of Andalusia.

They say the 2008 Toyota pick-up was traveling westbound when the driver lost control. The vehicle crossed over the eastbound lanes and went into the ditch on the south side of the road.

Sheriff's deputies say the pick-up rolled one time and the driver, who wasn't wearing a seatbelt, was ejected from the vehicle.

The Rock Island County Coroner's Office pronounced the driver dead at the scene.

The name of the driver is being withheld pending family notification.

The accident remains under investigation by the Rock Island County Sheriff's Department.
