Police made an arrest in what they call an ongoing drug investigation at a home in East Moline Wednesday afternoon. Officers from several agencies searched a suspected meth-making operation in the home in the 1100 block of 45th Ave.

Some of the officers were wearing protective suits as they entered the house where they say they found an active methamphetamine lab and dismantled it.

The raid was conducted by the Illinois State Police Methamphetamine Response Team and the Quad City Metropolitan Enforcement Group, who are specially trained to handle hazardous chemicals that often accompany the production of methamphetamine.

Police arrested 24-year-old Evan D. Peterson on a charges of possession, delivery and manufacturing of methamphetamine.
