The Sterling Police Department is looking for help to solve a rash of criminal damage to vehicles that happened in the overnight hours into early Thursday morning, January 17, 2013.

Police say at least seven vehicles had their windows shot out with a BB or pellet gun. The incidents happened from the 800 block of west 7th Street to the 300 block of East 7th Street.

According to information obtained from the initial complainant , police believe the subject or subjects were traveling in a vehicle similar to a Chevrolet Cobalt and were firing a CO2 powered BB Gun.

The vehicle was last seen traveling westbound from the 800 block of west 7th Street around 12:33 a.m.
