The Davenport Community School District is holding it's first public forum on the proposed boundary changes for it's elementary schools on Thursday night, January 17, 2013.

The District is looking for public input on both proposed school boundary changes and proposed budget reductions.

Parents and interested community members are invited to attend.

According to the district's website, the forums will allow attendees a chance to learn more about the proposals, ask questions and offer input to the superintendent and board members.

The forums are being held from six to 7:30 p.m with the first taking place in the Buffalo Elementary cafeteria.

This is the first of six public forums to be held over the next few weeks.

The next forum will be held at the Central High School auditorium on January 22, followed by the Harrison Elementary School cafeteria on January 23, the North High School auditorium on January 24, the Walcott Elementary/Intermediate cafeteria on January 30 and finally the West High School auditorium on February 12.
