    Jeep dealers, including those in the Quad Cities area, are waiting on details on a massive recall just announced Tuesday.

Three people were sent to the hospital in a head-on collision in Jo Daviess County. It happened Thursday afternoon on Highway 20, in the Rush Creek Hills, about a mile and a half west of Canyon Park Road.

According to a police report, a vehicle driven by 35-year-old Angela Rowe of Stockton, IL swerved into the westbound lane and struck a vehicle driven by 58-year-old Connie Bailey, also of Stockton. Rowe and her passenger, 26-year-old Amanda Cheeney, were taken to a hospital in Galena. Bailey was air-lifted to a hospital in Rockford, where he condition is not being released.

The accident is still under investigation and no charges have been filed.
