The list of developers for a land based casino has dwindled down to two.

The cities gaming consultant, Gary Buettner, said the Radisson casino proposal has been eliminated.

"The two major were introduced are those two from Restoration St. Louis  and the Ingenus  project," Buettner said. "We looked at the Radisson project. All in all it didn't hold weight to the other two."

Alderman Bill Edmond tried to push a vote through Wednesday night for a decision on the developer but others objected to it.

Davenport city leaders will likely call a special meeting sometime next week to make a decision.

The Riverboat Development Authority also has to vote on a proposal.
