Sterling, Ill., Police say three people have been arrested for passing counterfeit 20 dollar bills at local stores.

According to police, counterfeit currency was passed at the Walmart Supercenter on East Lincoln way in Sterling on Saturday, January 26, 2013.

An hour later, Dixon Ill., Police arrested 40-year old Jimmie Martin of Bettendorf, Iowa, along with 46-year-old Jeffery Morris and 46-year-old Vauncile Ruby, both from Davenport, Iowa.

Police say two of them were trying to return merchandise at the Dixon Walmart. All three face felony burglary and forgery charges.
