Muscatine Doctor Pleads Not Guilty To 95 Counts In Prescriptions For Sex Case


A Muscatine doctor was in federal court on Monday, January 28, 2013, charged with 95 counts for handing out illegal prescriptions in exchange for sex.

In September of 2012, David Vincent Gierlus was charged with supplying several women with prescriptions for drugs like adderall and hydro-codone in exchange for sexual favors.

According to court documents, Gierlus plead not guilty to all charges. His final pretrial conference is set for March 11 with the trial set to begin on April 16.
