There were some alarming moments for Quad City travelers flying out of Moline Tuesday afternoon. According to American Airlines, there was an indication of smoke in the cargo area of American Eagle Flight 3302. The plane landed safely at the Dallas-Fort Worth Airport and taxied to the gate under its own power. The 44 passengers and crew of four got off the plane and there were no injuries.

The aircraft, an Embraer 145, was later inspected by DFW Airport Department of Public Safety officials. The airline did not say what in the cargo hold may have caused the smoke.
