A man who was arrested last year has been sentenced to 15 years in prison on federal drug charges.

Officials say 46-year-old Steven Michael Gruetzmacher of Davenport, Iowa, was sentenced to 180 months imprisonment for conspiring to manufacture and distribute methamphetamine and for possessing firearms in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime.

According to court records, Gruetzmacher agreed with others to manufacture and distribute methamphetamine from July 2011 through early March 2012.

Records show Gruetzmacher manufactured and distributed methamphetamine on multiple occasions over the course of the conspiracy.
