Convicted murderer Nicholas Sheley is pleading not guilty to charges in the deaths of four Rock Falls residents.
He is also requesting a jury trial for the case.
This is the second murder trial for Sheley in Whiteside County. Last month, Sheley was sentenced to life in prison for the murder of 93-year-old Russell Reed of Sterling.
He's already serving a life sentence for the murder of a Galesburg man. Sheley is also accused of killing an Arkansas couple in Missouri.
He will be back in court March 22nd for a pretrial and the trial is set to begin June 3rd.
