Twelve jurors and two alternates have been selected for the trial of a former Davenport alderman.

Keith Meyer is accused of threatening his neighbor with a gun and is charged with "assault while displaying a weapon" after an incident last November.

Meyer denies the assault accusation and claims officers conducted an illegal search of his home.

Opening statements will begin tomorrow morning at nine a.m.
