KWQC can confirm that a jury has found former Davenport Alderman Keith Meyer not guilty of assault while displaying a weapon.
Meyer was accused of threatening his neighbor with a gun and was charged with "assault while displaying a weapon" after an incident last November.
Meyer had asked to have the charges dropped but his request was turned down.
The trial was rescheduled for today after an initial delay.
