A couple, booked by the Davenport Police Department for meth production, was doing so with a 21-month-old present.

On February 27, members of the Davenport Police Department's Tactical Operations Bureau executed a search warrant upon the residence of Joshua Stalder, 28, and Lauren Smoltzer, 24 at 3831 Bridge Ave. Apt. 1 in Davenport.

The detectives located reactionary vessels containing sludge and lithium with more than five grams of detectable methamphetamine.

The home contained various other meth-making materials.

The couple was charged with Drug Possession/Delivery and Child Endangerment.

Both are subject to sentencing.
