A Davenport man has been sentenced to 57 months in prison for a 2012 bank robbery.

According to court records, 25-year-old Arnordo Corderrel Turner will also serve three years of supervised release and pay $100 to the crime victim fund.

On June 11, 2012, Turner walked into the Northwest Bank and Trust branch at 1454 W. Locust St., with a note demanding money. A bank employee complied with his demand and he fled the scene.

Police say he was apprehended just a few blocks away and credit the description that bank employees gave for his quick capture.
