Illinois congresswoman Cheri Bustos is also warning the sequester could impact air travel in and out of the Quad Cities.
"They're talking about as much as 90 minute delays at O'Hare so then think about your connecting flight," Bustos said. "Whether you're going to be able to catch that flight in time, whether you're going to miss that flight and the back log that's going to happen with that."
More than 70 workers at Quad City International could be impacted, including T.S.A workers and air traffic controllers.
They could be forced to work one fewer day a week. Fewer workers could mean it would take longer to get through security, and could mean more flight delays.
