Police have amped up their security of the train station in Galesburg.

Last November, KWQC reported that Galesburg police are monitoring passengers who get on and off the train.

Marijuana is what seems to be getting the police's attention this time around.

"I think with the advent of medical marijuana being purchased, if you look at who we're arresting, they're coming from Colorado, they're coming from California, medical marijuana states," Police Captain Rodd Riggs said. "They're bringing it back, selling it for a profit here."

Galesburg police said they will sometimes ask to check bags and their drug dog will also help out.
