Iowa Preschool Bill Heads To Senate

The Iowa House has passed a bill that would allow preschools to enforce student attendance rules.

The law would allow preschools to guarantee that four-year-old students who are voluntarily enrolled, attend classes regularly.

It's not mandatory that four-year-olds go to pre-school and parents can choose to withdraw their kids if they want.

Supporters say the bill ensures that children who are enrolled are taking advantage of the opportunity.

The bill now moves to senate.
