Casino Meetings Still Causing Debate

While aldermen are no longer actively pursuing purchasing the Rhythm City Casino, it is still creating heated debate.
Alderman Mike Matson was speaking out tonight about a meeting Tuesday between some aldermen without the knowledge of others.
He is concerned that could jeopardize the entire deal and is concerned about transparency.

"I don't know it particularly because I haven't been privy to any meeting," Matson said. "I just heard from credible sources and with resignation of 4 DCIC members today. I think we have a concern.

That should be addressed by the council in the coming weeks.
