Officials say no one was hurt in a devastating fire that broke out in Rock Falls, Ill., Thursday night, March 14, 2013.

Firefighters were called to the home near downtown, in the 200 block of Avenue D, around 9:10 p.m.

The house was fully engulfed when firefighters arrived and took about an hour to put out.

Crews say the fire was a total loss. There was also damage to the siding of the house next door.

Officials say no one was home at the time of the fire.
