Hi Quad Cities! I'm Melissa Smith and I co-anchor Quad Cities Today with David Nelson, Greg Dutra and Amber O'Brien! I'm from the Great Lakes state of Michigan but I can't wait to learn all about the Quad Cities.

I grew up in the Detroit area but have been living and working in Traverse City, Michigan for the past six years. I'm passionate about morning news and love a good cup of coffee, a great news story and some good laughs! I anchor the 4:30 to 7 a.m. show with David Nelson!
