Dixon Teachers To Ratify Contract

Updated:

Teachers in Dixon, Ill., plan to ratify a new four-year contract Monday afternoon, March 18, 2013.

The signing will officially end the strike that canceled class for nearly two weeks.

An agreement between the teachers and school district was reached on Wednesday, March 13, sending kids back to class.

Once the teacher's union actually ratifies the new contract, it'll be ready for the Dixon School Board to sign off on it at its next meeting, Wednesday night, March 20, officially ending the strike.
