Update: Davenport police have released more information on a crash involving a young boy on a motorcycle in the 2900 block of Harrison St. Police say a four-year-old Davenport boy was riding a 50cc dirt bike and rode out of the alley onto Harrison St. and collided with a car.
The boy was taken to a local hospital and later transferred to University Hospitals in Iowa City by a MedForce helicopter for what ER doctors describe as head and spinal injuries and a fractured right leg.

Davenport Police are still working to determine what caused a crash that sent a young child to the hospital on Sunday afternoon, March 17, 2013.
The incident happened at about 2:30 p.m., at 29th and Harrison Streets.
Officers say the boy, who was younger than 10-years-old, was on a small motorcycle when he was hit by a vehicle.
He was flown to Iowa City with what are being called serious, but not life threatening injuries.
