Update 3-13-14: According to court records, Robert Zais agreed to a negotiated plea on four charges of theft and burglary. Two other charges were dropped. He is sentenced to 10 years in prison and ordered to pay back approximately $75,000. If his co-defendant is found guilty, they will split the amount of restitution.

Original:

Two men police believe are behind a couple of ATM thefts in Sterling, Ill., will be back in court Tuesday, March 19, 2013.

Twenty five-year-old Robert Zais and 32-year-old Robert Lambert have multiple charges including two counts of burglary, two counts of theft and a count of possession of a stolen vehicle.

Last May, KWQC reported on a forced entry into Northland Mall where an ATM was stolen.

Later that day, police say another ATM was stolen from a restaurant.
