An arrest has been made in connection with the investigation of dogs that were shot in Warren County over the past couple months.

On Monday, March 18, 2013, the Warren County Sheriff's Office executed a search warrant at the home of 41-year-old James Davis of rural Galesburg, Ill.

They say several weapons and ammunition were seized during the search and Davis was arrested at the scene.

He's being charged with unlawful use or possession of weapons by a felon, a class three felony.

According to officials, Davis was released after posting a $50,000 bond.
