It was a day that one Rock Island woman will never forget, and it was all thanks to a well known celebrity.

Cesar Millan known as the famous "Dog Whisperer" was in Davenport for a Gilda's Club event.

His first stop was at Genesis Medical Center where he met with breast cancer patient, Shiela Jasper.

The self-proclaimed animal lover said she had no idea Millan was there to meet with her, but it's been her dream to meet the man who shares her love for dogs.

"I felt really comfortable because I knew how he is with dogs, so it makes me feel good to be around people who take care of animals," Jasper said.

Jasper said she knew Millan was in town and asked her husband, Mark if they could meet him somehow.

Millan also gave Jasper a special "Pack Leader" bracelet because he says she is now an official pack leader.
