Man Shot In Davenport, Outstanding Warrants Lead To His Arrest

A man was shot late on March 25, 2013 and outstanding warrants lead to his arrest.

Antwan Davon Wright, 26 of Davenport, was involved in a fight at 600 W. 63rd St. when officers responded. With officers responding, information was received from a caller that a shot was possibly heard and people were fleeing the area.

Officers arrived and found Wright suffering from a single non-life threatening gun shot would. Wright was transported to Genesis East where he received treatment and was released.

Upon his release Wright was arrested for an outstanding warrant for Domestic Assault Impeding Air/Blood Causing Injury. Wright was also charged with Domestic Abuse Assault Resulting in Bodily Injury which stems from an incident on Saturday March 23rd, 2013. 

Wright was charged with Assault with Injury as a result of the incident on March 25. 

The injury sustained by Wright is currently being investigated by the Criminal Investigation Division.
