The Scott County General Store is moving.

It's current location is on the 2100 block of Kimberly Road in Davenport and it's relocating just three minutes away to the Village Shopping Center.

We got a look inside the new facility today. It's twice the square footage as the other building.

Customers will have more parking and seating available.

"This is the new facility for drivers licenses and the Scott County general store where you can get your drivers license, pay your property tax payments, transfer titles for vehicles, renew your vehicles," County General Store Manager, Kathy Hall said.

The current location, near Hy-Vee on Kimberly, will be closed this Saturday and next Monday with services opening up in this building a week from today.
