Two men are under arrest in connection with a stabbing that occurred in Rock Falls, Ill. on March 19, 2013.

Sterling Police say 29-year-old Mark A. Chavez and 28-year-old Angel J. Rosas were in involved in an altercation that occurred in the area of West 15th Street and Lindy Avenue in Rock Falls.

During the incident, a Rock Falls man was stabbed and a vehicle's tire was punctured.

According to police, the victim was treated in a hospital for his injuries and has since been released.

Both men are being charged with aggravated battery in a public place, a class four felony.

Chavez also is also being charged with mob action, a class four felony and criminal damage to property, a class A misdemeanor.
