UPDATE:  Kyle Charles Julian, 18, was captured by deputies from the Clinton County Sheriff's Office in a vehicle on Hwy. 30 just west of Lowden in Cedar County, Iowa at 12:20 a.m. on Monday, April 8th.

Julian is being held in the Clinton County Jail on a warrant charging him with Escape from Custody.  He will appear in court on Monday morning.

UPDATE:  CLINTON, Iowa - One of two inmates who escaped from the Clinton County Jail was captured late Saturday night. 

Deputies arrested Kendrell Antonio Keith in the 1500 block of Camanche Ave. in Clinton at 11:49 PM. 

Keith is being held in the Clinton County Jail on a warrant charging him with escape.  He will appear in court on Sunday morning.

The Clinton County Sheriff's Department is looking for two escaped inmates.

18-year olds Kendrell Antonio Keith and Kyle Charles Julian escaped from the Clinton County Jail Saturday at 4:40p.m.

Keith is described as a black male, 5'10", 125 pounds, wearing his hair in cornrow dreadlocks. He was being held on charges of Theft 2nd Degree a Class D Felony.

Julian is described as a dark skinned male, 5'9", 175 pounds, with green eyes. He was being held for Probation Violation which is Class D Felony.

Clinton Police officers and deputies from the Clinton County Sheriff's Office are conducting a search in an area north of the Jail based on citizen's reports seeing two men running that direction from the Jail located in the 200 block of 7th Ave North, Clinton. Some orange colored jail clothing was found in that area.

Anyone with information pertaining to this case is encouraged to call the Clinton County Sheriff's Office at 563-242-9211 Option 2 or they should call 911. A cash reward of up to $1000 may be given for information leading to the arrest and capture of the escapees.
