The votes are in and the two newest stars of the Alcoa EagleCam have names... introducing... Honor and Glory!

According to Alcoa officials, this set of names received 33.3% of the 124,690 total votes cast. Last year, there were just over 70,000 votes cast to name the 2012 eaglets.

Officials at Alcoa say they have no way to know the sex of the eaglets at this point, they say that many people who post on this website are convinced the larger (first hatched) eaglet is female. They plan to call her Glory, while the younger eaglet will be named Honor.

According to website, the eaglets are just a few weeks away from their first attempt at flight.

People looking for souvenirs of the newly named eaglets will be able to go the website, www.qceaglecam.com, for new items in the coming days. A portion of each purchase goes to charity to support the environment and to support STEM education.
