A Burlington family is thankful that their son Garrett could save 5 lives through organ donation.

In February, Garrett died when a tree fell on his head when he was helping his dad in the yard.

KWQC photojournalist Mike Ortiz met up Garrett's family to reflect on his life and the lives saved through organ donation.

Story has been corrected to mention Garrett's several donations.
