Milan School Employee Facing Charges


A teacher's aide in the Rock Island-Milan School District is facing charges of child luring.

Brian Evans, a paraprofessional at Thomas Jefferson Elementary School in MIlan has been arrested by the Rock Island County Sheriff's Office. Evans is charged with three separate offenses alleging inappropriate text messaging with a minor.

Evans is currently on indefinite administrative leave from school and has been barred from all district property, pending the outcome of an investigation.
