Police Say Abingdon High School Vandals Arrested


Police in Abingdon, Ill. have made an arrest in connection with an incident of vandalism at the local high school.

School officials say that someone came onto the property sometime on Sunday night, April 21, 2013 and spray-painted profanities on several doors and electrical boxes. They also say a white school panel van was vandalized.

As a result of an investigation, police determined identified two people they believe climbed a fence and spray-painted the school.

Arrested were 19-year-old Nathan T. Marshall and 18-year-old Keith A. Brush, both of Galesburg, Ill.

Both men were charged with criminal damage to property and criminal defacement of property.
