As the Mississippi River recedes, Davenport city crews are continuing to reopen sections of River Drive.

Currently River Drive is essentially closed from Division Street on the west to 3rd Street. The detour routes are as follows:

Westbound:  River Drive to 4th Street, west on 4th Street to Division Street, continue south on Division Street back to River Drive. Large trucks should follow the signed detour route in Bettendorf beginning at the intersection of Grant Street and 14th Street continue north to Locust Street then west on Locust Street to Harrison Street, and south on Harrison Street.

Eastbound: River Drive to Division Street, north on Division Street to 3rd Street, east on 3rd Street back to River Drive. Large trucks should continue north on Division Street then east on Locust Street to I-74.

Businesses along River Drive are still accessible. If in question, call ahead for directions. Please find attached a map of the detour.
