Congressmen Dave Loebsack and Bruce Braley will be taking tours along the Mississippi River Tuesday, April 30, 2013.

They plan to meet with local officials to talk about the locks and dams, as well as flooding issues.

The tour will start in Rock Island, Ill., Tuesday morning and will continue down the river with stops in Muscatine, Burlington, and Fort Madison.

In Rock Island, the two Congressmen from Iowa will be joined by Rep. Cheri Bustos from Illinois.

The group is scheduled to speak at Lock and Dam 15 in Rock Island around 10:15.

Braley and Loebsack will travel to Muscatine to speak at the Riverview Center at 11:30.

The pair will then continue to the Port of Burlington for a 2:00 appointment, followed by a 3:30 stop in Fort Madison at the Sante Fe Depot.
