The Alcoa Eaglecam that was knocked out a few weeks ago by lightening is back up and running... almost.

According to the website, on the morning of Wednesday April 10, 2013, a strong line of thunderstorms moved through the area and somehow knocked out the video feed from the camera above the nest.

After consulting with the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service, Alcoa decided not to do any repair work or replace that camera until after this nesting season.

They instead made plans to place another camera that would film the nest from a different vantage point. But due to the rains and eventual flooding in the area, plans were postponed.

As of Monday, April 29, 2013, the new Alcoa Eaglecam is up and running and you can see it for yourself here... http://bit.ly/100KXne
