Muscatine To Talk HUD Smoking Ban

Updated:

The Muscatine city council will review a plan to ban smoking from public housing.

The Department of Housing and Urban Development or "HUD" is recommending all of it's facilities go smoke free.

Muscatine is looking to follow its advice, specifically the city is looking at making Clark House and Sunset Park smoke free.

The apartment complexes house low income, elderly and disabled. Currently, people can smoke in their apartments and outside.
