Moline Kids Learn "Safety First"

"Safety First" extended to a safety fair in East Moline. It was the first annual "Linking Our Villages for Educational Equity" kid's safety fair.

The "LOVEE" event was held at the Aldridge Early Learning Center providing lots of activities and demonstrations to show kids that safety is  most important.
More than a hundred kids were here, from little babies to 12-year-olds. The event was planned in preparation for summer.

"Our organization was chartered in Moline so we just thought that, ya know, we should come on this side of the river and just equip parents with some tools on to have a fun and safe summer," President of Quad Cities Links, Debra Stevenson said.

The group emphasizes five facets: arts, youth, national trends, international trends, and health and human services.
