A Davenport man, charged in the murder of a man from Rock Island, has pleaded guilty to a new, negotiated charge.

In June of 2012, four people were arrested after the body of 51-year-old Alan K. Porter was found next to the bike path in Rock Island. The coroner said Porter died of traumatic injuries.

20-year-old Ryan Mosher was charged with homicide. The other three, 23-year-old Jesse R. Martin; 26-year-old Patrick K. Watts and 28-year-old Melinda Burkhardt; were charged with concealing a homicide.

Now, Mosher agreed to enter a guilty plea on a new charge of second degree murder. Sentencing is set for July 9th.
