The City of LeClaire, Iowa has approved plans for an expansion of the Buffalo Bill Museum.
It includes adding on 1,300 square feet to the northwest corner of the current museum.
The expansion would allow for more exhibit space and include an area for a library.
Organizers at the museum tell us they still need approval from the Department of Natural Resources because the property sits on a flood plain.
If they get the okay, construction is expected to start in the fall on the nearly $260,000 project.
