Kolcraft Recalls 96,000 Strollers Due To Projectile Hazard

Updated:

The Consumer Product Safety Commission has issued a voluntary recall on 96,000 Kolcraft strollers in the United States.

Officials say the inner tube of the tire on the stroller can rupture, causing the wheel rim to fracture and become a projectile.

Kolcraft and the CPSC have received 39 reports of inner tube ruptures, resulting in 18 injuries.

Consumers can contact Kolcraft to receive replacement wheels.

The recall includes Jeep Liberty branded strollers with model numbers starting with jl031, jl032, jl034, jl035 or jl036, manufactured between June 2010 and September 2011.
