Starting Tuesday, June 25, 2013, runners, walkers and bikers could run into some complications on the Riverfront Trail between Bettendorf and Mound Street.

A contractor for cleaning and televising of the sanitary sewer system will be accessing manholes which are located along the trail.

The contractor plans to keep the trail open during the cleaning, but trail users should use caution in this area and be prepared to walk on the grass to avoid equipment on the trail.

Officials say obstructions will be removed and the trail fully opened by 7:00pm each day and on weekends.

The work is expected to be completed by July 14, 2013.
