Rock Island Prepares For Flooding, Again


Officials in Rock Island, Ill., are preparing for another round of high water.

On Tuesday, June 25, 2013, crews will begin installing pumps, closing gatewells and installing flood panels along the Mississippi River.

The boat launches at Sunset Marina will close on Tuesday and the gas dock is scheduled to close on Wednesday.

The road to the marina is expected to close on Thursday.
