Prophetstown: Two Juveniles Arrested In Connection With Fire

The Illinois State Police say that two juveniles have been arrested in Prophetstown, Ill. In connection with the July 15th fire that destroyed several buildings in the Prophetstown Business District.

In a joint investigation with the Illinois State Police, Prophetstown Police, State Fire Marshal's office, and Whiteside County Sheriff's Department, two juvenile boys age 16 and 12 have been arrested in connection with the July 15, 2013, fire.

Tuesday morning, July 16, 2013, at approximately 12:15 a.m., the two boys were transported to a juvenile detention facility in Galesburg, Illinois.

Investigators are meeting with the Whiteside County State's Attorney's Office to discuss formal charges.
