KWQC-TV6 Sunday Morning Program Change

The long running public affairs show, "The Chris Matthews Show", has ceased production and will air its final episode this Sunday at 9 a.m. on KWQC-TV6.  Filling the vacancy will be "On the Money with Maria Bartiromo," a nationally syndicated show that focuses on the latest in market and economic news.

Ending "The Chris Matthews Show" is a result of a long-term contract Matthews signed with MSNBC.  In a public statement Matthews said he intends to focus on "Hardball" and his books.

Maria Bartiromo is the host and managing editor of "On the Money with Maria Bartiromo."  She has covered Wall Street for 20 years and is the recipient of numerous prestigious awards.  In 2009 the Financial Times named her one of the "50 Faces That Shaped the Decade."

"On the Money with Maria Bartiromo" can be seen Sunday mornings at 9 a.m. on KWQC-TV6 starting July 28th.
