Money Set Aside For Illinois Construction



Two and a half million dollars is being set aside for local construction projects in Illinois.
The work will take place in Henry, Rock Island and Whiteside counties. Governor Pat Quinn says the projects aim to not only improve infrastructure but create construction jobs.

There is resurfacing and some other work planned for these streets:

  • In Henry County: on Grange Road in Geneseo.
  • For Rock Island County: 12th Avenue in Moline that will also include curb and gutter work.
  • In Whiteside County: resurfacing work on both Coleta Road and Moline Road.
