If you are at risk of foreclosure, the State of Illinois is encouraging you to apply for help.

Time's running out. The Illinois "Hardest Hit Program" will end in September. People whose incomes have been cut can apply for up to $35,000 dollars they can use toward their mortgage payments.

Quinn launched the program in 2011 to help cut down on foreclosures. More than nine-thousand people around the state have used the program so far.
