Davenport: Possible Site For Land Based Casino

Kehl Development has announced a possible site for the new land based Rhythm City Casino.

The developer has 100 acres under option in Davenport, Iowa, that includes three different parcels of land.

Two parcels are 85 and a half acres north of Veterans Memorial Parkway and 14 acres are south.

All are bordered by Eastern Avenue.

Kehl has now submitted a development agreement to the city.

The land based casino will have a $100 million minimum investment in the casino floor, that will be at least 30,000 square feet with 900 slot machines, 25 game tables and a poker room.

Other casino plans include a 95 room hotel with spa and fitness center, a theater, sports bar, buffet, steak house and 24 hour deli.
