A plane out of Cedar Rapids had to make made an emergency landing in Georgia on Sunday night, July 28, 2013.

Allegiant Air flight 863 was headed to Saint Petersburg, Florida when pilots saw a warning light in the cockpit alerting them to a fire in the cargo bay.

All 155 people were able to get off the plane safely.

Passengers explain what it was like on board.

"Not knowing what was going to happen next, we didn't know if it was going to be a safe landing or a horrendous landing. We didn't know where we were going down."

"It was wild, I mean I, I stayed calm somewhat, but I could tell that once we stopped, people were very panicky, wanting to get to that exit right away."

An FAA spokeswoman says no fire was found on the plane.

The passengers were taken to their Florida destination by bus.
